How does wireless routers work on Wildblue satellite internet?

I have WildBlue satellite internet. I just have the modem from wildblue with the one ethernet port coming out into the computer, like most modems. I was wondering if most routers would work on this? Like netgear or something. I really need wireless. Thanks!
