How do the satellite companies hook up satellite tv?

I’m looking into getting satellite tv, I need to know if I will need cable outlets in my home.
My house was built with out them can satellite still be installed with out them?

I recently got a sirius satellite radio, I need some tips on how to hook it up??

I need to know where my antenna would be if there is not one on my car……and also what is the best way to hook it up??
