How do you move a satellite connection to a different part of the house?

We have a Bell Express Vu Satellite receiver in our house and I want to move the satellite up a level. Is that simple? Like do I just plug in the receiver and tv upstairs, or is there special wiring needed? Please help, I obviously know very little about what I’m doing!
