While using the GPRS navigation system over your phone have you ever thought that how is it possible to know about the accurate way towards a destination by a click of a button? The answer would be no. What we get easily is generally taken for granted. We usually don’t care about the hows around the same. Well, it is the navigation satellite which tells you which way you should be going. Technology has advanced so much that a navigation satellite which is orbiting around the earth would give you the direction. How this works is much difficult to understand though.

There are many navigation satellites orbiting around the earth. These are used mostly by the transportation companies like aviation industry, the companies that enables water transport. There are many more commercial usages of the same but the real accurate information by the navigation satellites is provided for military purposes.
