Communication is indispensable, especially when we don’t have time enough to spend with family and friends and that is the reason that we have mobile phones – to stay connected where ever we are. But then these would be functional only when these are in the coverage area. The same holds true for the satellite phones as well. These would though have the entire earth as the coverage area as long as the sky is visible.

You can’t really say that which is better than the other, as each suit best to a particular situation. It is for you to decide and match the situation you are in to the pros and cons of the satellite phone and the cell phones. The satellite phones are really expensive and hence could be rented as well. But due to security reason this option is not available to all. There are certain pre requirements that need to be full filled before you could have one.
